Healthcare, finance, education\u2014no industry would remain untouched. Scientific discovery would accelerate exponentially. Space exploration, nanotech, biotech would all leap forward. Abundance for everyone! At least that\u2019s the sales pitch. Global AI adoption in healthcare alone is projected to reach $194.4 billion by 2030, per Accenture analysis.<\/p>\n

But here\u2019s the uncomfortable truth. The gap between today\u2019s AI and superintelligence is wider than the Grand Canyon. Getting there requires massive breakthroughs in learning, reasoning, and cognitive architectures. The most significant roadblock remains AI\u2019s current inability to master common sense reasoning<\/a>, highlighting just how far we still need to go.
