South Korea is doubling down on its semiconductor strategy<\/strong>. The government just disclosed a massive 33 trillion won<\/strong> ($23.25 billion) support package<\/strong> for its chip industry. That\u2019s a serious upgrade from last year\u2019s 26 trillion won plan. But hey, when semiconductors make up 21% of your exports, you protect them at all costs.<\/p>\n

The package isn\u2019t just about throwing money around. It\u2019s a calculated response to global competition<\/strong> and those looming US tariffs<\/strong> everyone\u2019s worried about. Nobody wants to get left behind in the chip race. Especially not Korea.<\/p>\n
